Health Service Reform
We Health Service Reform represent people let down by the Irish public health service. The current public health service is failing to provide necessary timely healthcare to many people. Long health service waiting lists are causing delayed diagnosis and unnecessary suffering for many. The reoccurring trolley crisis and long A&E waiting times are an offence to those in need of urgent medical care. Change is badly needed!
The Problem
1. Public Health System Problems
Time after time we see headlines showing us failures of public health service provision in Ireland. People are suffering! The less well off in society bear the brunt of problems in our public health service.
2. Government Health Policy Deficiencies
No more false promises! For many years now, there have been long waiting lists to see hospital consultants, long A & E waiting times, and reoccurring trolley crises. No matter what our government has said and done, these problems have not been resolved. We need to act now to prevent this continuing!
3. Inflated Healthcare Costs
To reduce the cost of medical care we need to:- 1. Retain medical staff and allied health professionals in Ireland by providing a respectful place of work.
- 2. Recruit & retain more medical staff from Ireland and abroad with by introducing successful management practices.
- 3. Train more medical professionals at Irish Universities.
